Nameservers again. Is this setup possible?

Hi,

I'm having a major problem getting my nameservers setup across two dedicated boxes working.

I've seen this type of setup working with other hosts but I'm damned if I can get it working.

Here's the issue:

I've got two boxes, with two nameservers on two IP's on each box.

BOX1:
ns1.box1.abcd.net 1.1.1.1
ns2.box1.abcd.net 2.2.2.2

BOX2:
ns1.box2.abcd.net 3.3.3.3
ns2.box2.abcd.net 4.4.4.4

The domains on box 1 work as they should do but all domains on box 2 come up with the following at DNSREPORT.COM

"Your NS records at the parent servers are:

ns1.box2.abcd.net . [NO GLUE; No A record]
ns2.box2.abcd.net . [NO GLUE; No A record]

I'm at a loss now. Any help would be appreciated.
