    Hi

In my godaddy domain account I can add multiple IPs for a nameserver for a domain.

So I can set up one nameserver with multiple ips and server like backup?

If I want to create dnsonly server and I create two ns2.domain.com with differents IPs?

If this makes sense how to set up this?

    thanks

Its better to raise a support ticket with godaddy, they will help you in this matter.

    Hello :)

The most common configuration is to simply use a different IP address for each name server. Let's say you have two DNS-Only machines:

    DNS-Only1 - 10.1.1.1
    DNS-Only2 - 10.1.1.2

You would simply register two name servers, one for each DNS-Only server. EX:

    ns1.nameserverdomain.com - 10.1.1.1
    ns2.nameserverdomain.com - 10.1.1.2

    Thank you.
