Ok i have limited IPs on my Box.

what i want / need to know is

how can i setup a reseller to user there domain name for private name servers but still have them point to the boxes root name servers..

The client(reseller) has added ns1.theredomainname.com in the Host Summary in godaddy control panel pointing to the ns1.mybox.com's ip address and also for ns2

but we still get that ping fails and not able to resolve to an ip ... its been about 5 days... any help or are we missing something in there DNS zone file on the server or ???

    thanks all

    Hello,

Do you have a SOA for ns1 and ns2.theredomainname.com on the server.. If not SOA than at least an A records for ns1 and ns2 in the zone of theredomainname.com pointing it to the respective name server IP.
