    Hello,

I have recently taken over a dedicated server. The nameservers are already setup and working. However, someone wants to use a .it domain whilst using our server as a host, and apparently .it domains require nameservers that are on two separate IP addresses to work. Can someone please clarify/ confirm this, and instruct me on how to setup new name servers on different IPs (we do have different IPS linked to the accounts)

    Thanks!

    Hello :)

Name servers are created at the domain registrar. Thus, you would create a new name server with a different IP address at the domain registrar of the domain name you are creating the name server for. Then, simply add an "A" record for the name server on the cPanel server.

    Thank you.
