I am wanting to setup some nameservers for one of my customers,

the other ones were ok, because i used the assign ip address function. however, i need to choose the IP address for them to use, and not have it automatic

just ask the client to point his nameservers to any ip addresses resolving to the server at the registrar.

it will work as fine as others.

Can you have 2 names pointing to the same IP?

like ns1.mydomain.tdl and ns3.mydomain.tdl both to 123.34.567.89 for Primary Name servers.
