    Hello all, I just rented a server that has CPanel/WHM/gCFGs on it. I am really new to all of this so please if there is any help can it be step-by-step and in lay terms. OK, The issue I did was I was trying to name the main IP of the server and I named it wrong. I now cannot log back into the root WHM to change this back to default name to log back into the WHM. What can I do?

    Login to the server as root

    open the file
    vi /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0

    change the IP address mentioned in this line to your main server IP

    IPADDR=11.22.33.44
