ndc: connect failed: connection refused

i get this when i try to add an A entry for my hostname as well as other things. what does this error mean and how do i fix it? thanks

Do some searching in this forum for the answer to that question. I had the same problem, the answer is in here tho.
In short, your keys aren't setup correctly.

I had the same problem, I just re installed bind via the Install RPM link and it worked fine after that..
