ndc: connect failed: connection refused

When adding sub-domains, I get this message...

ndc: connect failed: connection refused

And then, the sub-domain is added, but it does not work. Yes, sub-domains are enabled in the WHM.

I have seen this before, but am not sure what it means. Does it have something to do with /etc/resolv.conf
