In 2004 I bought a perpetual license from NDChost.com ... best investment I made, lol. Only had to pay a small annual fee for updates. Jump forward to Nov 2021 and I find out that cPanel will no longer offer updates for the perpetual license... it'll keep working, but insecurely. Fine, I'm getting forced into the same bucket as everyone else now, I can adjust.

HOWEVER... NDChost tells me they can offer one more year if I renew before Dec 21, 2021... GREAT! How do I do that?

Silence.

For six weeks I try to get them to respond... nothing. In the interim they're screwing up my cloudlinux licenses as well, not getting the billing right, etc.

Now I'm just trying to move away from them completely. But I can't get any response from them whatsoever about cancelling my perpetual license, so it's still tied to my server IP... new license vendor can't register my IP because it's still registered with NDChost, and even when the new vendor made contact with them to transfer, NDChost denied the transfer.

So, NDChost's famous "support" is now holding me hostage. I'm getting no updates on my server because support has expired... I can't move to another company... am I left to change IP addresses just to get away from these a$$hats???

I've opened a support ticket with cPanel directly hoping they can put some pressure on NDChost to actually get off their a$$ and do something, but haven't heard anything yet.

NDChost has become a worthless laughingstock of a company.

Update: talked to a cPanel customer service rep directly who is hoping to make something move Monday (it's currently Saturday). I left an update on the NDCHost ticket that I'd contacted cPanel directly. On a whim, I called the NDCHost support number again, and lo and behold I was able to talk to probably the only person there! After weeks of no response via tickets, via email, no one answering the chat, no one answering the phone... maybe something will happen now.
