Need help with remote redirect site, how do I stop this?

    I've changed the TLDs in question for the example shown below, but apparently someone is redirect-linking to a page that should be cloaked. In any case, we see referrals to this page from a particular site using this URL:


    How can we block this. I've tried to block the IP that uses, also tried to use the cPanel hot-link protections, and neither works.

    Any help?

    Hotlink protection only works for images, hence it wouldn't work for this scenario.

    If that was my website and I was very worried about someone linking directly to it, I'd put in some code to block anything with a HTTP_REFERER (sic.) that is not or Note, some web browser plug-ins can allow a user to change their HTTP_REFERER or have it always set to a null string, so this may not be 100% effective.

    I believe there is also a way to do this via .htaccess however I've never used that method in this context.
