    Hi ,
I am Manoj Chauhan, we have dedicated server and we have install the cpanel with php5.0 ,apache, mysql 4.x but we need mysql 5.0 version but as per cpanel does not provide the support for this version of mysql, we need cpanel only for creating accounts only. We tried to install the Mysql but after some times it asking for the user name and password as we have set no password for the root user. But when we restart the mysql 5.0 then it works for some time then after some times it again asking for password.
When use this command mysql -u root -p press enter key it ask password while i press the enter key i am able to login in the mysql.
what when i try to connect from the php code then it give me an error access deny like...

I don't know what is the problem...

    get to me at:

    Yahoo: setvbuf
    AIM: "tux image"

C-panel normally installs the mysql server. In case it hasnt; then u can login to shell and issue the command:

    /scripts/upcp --force

    That will reinstall mysql.
