    Are there any tutorials on how to install these modules on cpanel servers?

    DBI Perl Module
    DBD::mysql Perl Module

    Also need to disable mod_security

    /scripts/perlinstaller modulename

    so for you:

    /scripts/perlinstaller DBD::mysql DBI GD

    To disable mod_security, just uninstall it or remove it's configuration from httpd.conf and restart Apache

    # /scripts/perlinstaller GD
    Fetching CPAN mirrors...
    bzip2: Compressed file ends unexpectedly;
    perhaps it is corrupted? *Possible* reason follows.
    bzip2: No such file or directory
    Input file = /root/.cpcpan/MIRRORED.BY.bz2, output file = /root/.cpcpan/MIRRORED.BY

    It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
    You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

    You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
    data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

    bzip2: Deleting output file /root/.cpcpan/MIRRORED.BY, if it exists.
    Cannot fetch mirror list at /scripts/cPanelPerl.pm line 118, <Socket_Handle> line 88.

    Try the following then run the perlinstaller command again:

    rm -rf /root/.cpcpan
