My dedicated server provider requires that if a spam complaint arises at any point in the future that we retain a record of the opt-in confirmation.
The problem I see is that mailman allows the list admin from cpanel to bulk-subscribe members by coping and pasting email addresses into a box, as well as the normal opt-in or bulk-invite options. So if an abuse complaint happened in the future, how do I prove that a list-member opted in to join the mailman list and was not bulk-added by the list owner?
Is there a way to set mailman to record and archive forever all the opt-in join confirmations from list members, either when done 1 at a time or when using the bulk - invite feature?
