Need Some Help Please

    i have plesk 8.1 installed on my server can any 1 help me remove it or tell me how can i install cpanel on the server i have purchaced a liecence.

    its a linux box

    The only option to get a stable system is to format the HD and then you can install the cPanel.

    That isnt strictly true, depends on the OS but i have 2 servers that the DC would only build with plesk that I have manually cleaned and are now running cpanel.

    Dependant on the partition schema and RAID config you might need some work done on the partition table (xfs is a pig to resize but chirpy from configserver has done this for me a couple of times now)

    It is perfectly possible to have a clean and stable system that was originally on plesk, and it isnt actually that difficult to achieve.
