need to edit add on IPs

I was given an allocation of 6 ips to add into my cPanel and after adding them and assigning 2 of them to accounts I found the Ips did not work, not even by typing in the ip rather than hostname. Now it seems they gave me incorrect subnet information and I need to change the Broadcast mask. How can I do this without deleting and readding the accounts and Ips? Isnt there a file somewhere that cPanel just edits when IPs are added that I can go in and edit the subnet on?
