Need to host multiple sites with 1 FTP account

hello,

I have created a package in WHM with 10 add-on domains allowed to host in single hosting account and set 1 FTP account only. As i don't wish to create multiple ftp accounts in same hosting for multiple domains.

However, when i try to add a add-on domain, i got ftp account limitation error as the cpanel system try to create separate ftp for add-on domain.

I have used many hosting providers who already have same functionality. Please help me how to do it.

Hello ,

While creating addon domain DO NOT tick " Create an FTP account associated with this Addon Domain. " options so that cPanel will not create FTP account for your addon domain.

There's no option there to tick or no tick. i have attached the screen shot. FTP is must and without that, i am unable to add domain.

You can update the account to the Paper Lantern theme to utilize the updated "Addon Domains" interface that allows you to disable the FTP account creation:

Theme modifications are possible via the "WHM >> Account Functions >> Modify an Account" option in Web Host Manager.
