Hello,
I have a dedicated server and i m using it for sending mass mails. Currently it is sending some where around 4800 emails per hr. Can any one guide me how can we increase the speed of emails sending from this server into 50k per hr.

Hello and welcome to the Cpanel forums

To help identify what is the problem, can we please get some stats about your dedicated server? Things like hardware, current cpu levels, RAM levels. This will help figure out how to increase the amount of emails you want to send per hour. Sorry just not enough information.

And one more thing. Wow 50K per hour.

Hello Tank,
Thanks for your kind helping nature. I am really very sorry for not providing the information asked by you in my previous mail. Please find below the server details.

Processor : Dual-Core Processors
Memory : 2 GB RAM
Hard Drive : 250 GB SATA
Bandwidth : 5000 GB/month
Exim : Yes
OS : CentOS 32bit
Control Panel: WHM/Cpanel

I am looking for sending up to 50K mails per hr or more. If not possible with this configuration please let me know the required configuration for this requirement and how many maximum i can send with this configuration. Currently i am able to send 4800 mails per hr.

Ok so I am just spit balling here. (guessing) In all honesty you have don't have 2 GB of ram available to the program. The OS and WHM take up available RAM. Plus any databases will take up RAM. What is your RAM usage as you send out emails? What configuration is the hard drive in? RAID 5? RAID 15?

Unless someone else has a better idea, I feel as if current hardware is whats holding you back. The system is going as fast it can processing those emails. My knowledge of servers is limited to that regard of sending mass emails. Hard drives can only spin so fast and RAM is needed to buffer the scripts sending emails. I would recommend seeing if an increase of RAM might help. Also possiblly increasing the speed of hardrives with either RAID 5 or RAID 10 (best one)

Here is a thread that i found by searching cpanel:

In the above thread they reference this website to speed up exim:
