Need to recover root/whm password on active server

    Hello,

    I have lost root access to my server while trying to change the pass via WHM. How can I recover it or reset it or whatever without losing the server's content? Please help.

    I think the only way is to have it reset manually, which would require contacting the company you get your server from.

    Fixed :) Had to boot in single user mode... normal recovery procedure for Linux I believe.
