After doing a full mbox->maildir conversion we are getting some people complaining about not having their neomail address book.

I see a script in /scripts called neomail2hordeaddrbook and was wondering if anyone has used this. Does it just fix one or does it go in and do ALL accounts. I dont want to do something global and chance botching what someone might have already done on their own.

What is the syntax for running neomail2hordeaddrbook ?? Are there any command line switches ??

thanks.

You can determine the syntax for any script in the /scripts directory by running that script without any parameters.

Note that Neomail is not supported on maildir systems as Neomail itself only supports mbox.

Well, I was concerned about just running the script as it might do a global change and I wasnt sure if that should be done after users have already started playing with their horde addressbooks.

As to neomail not supported in maildir, well thats why they need to get to the addressbooks, neomail is gone now.... :D

I just ran this on my server. It goes through each account and imports the addresses from the old Neomail address books into the respective Horde address books. It does not erase the current Horde address book, rather it adds addresses that don't already exist in the Horde address book.

Thought I'd give a little peace of mind to those who were worried about running the script.
