It seems that when you are trying to add the account the entry with the same name is already registered in /user/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf configuration file for service http.

You will have to open the same file from shell with root access with your favorite editor
    ( vi/pico/nano )

    # vi user/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf

search for the entry for the domain you wanted to add but can't
if you find it there remove it.

Or else simply run the following script from it will remove all the entry for the doamin from the server if already present on the server

    # /scripts/killacct username --force

Note. username here is the cPanel yousername which you get at the time of creating a new account

Sounds to me like you're looking at this area right now:
WHM > Server Configuration >> Basic cPanel/WHM Setup

    Go here first instead:
WHM > Networking Setup >> Change Hostname

What does it say at top? If nothing, scroll to bottom and add one. What you need to do this is the main server domain setup with this server and any name you like.

Depending on what version of cPanel you're on (I think) you should see a list of Ten Randomly Generated Hostnames listed here on the Change Hostname page for examples.

Back on this page and your other question about nameservers:
WHM > Server Configuration >> Basic cPanel/WHM Setup

Once that hostname is setup properly, you might use it for your nameservers. You'll need two here.
    Something like:
    ns1.yourdomain.com
    ns2.yourdomain.com

There is no need to fill all four slots with nameservers unless you need to.

    Nameserver ?

    Hi,
thanks for your reply. I'm facing difficulty in understanding and deciding nameservers. Can you please help me in understanding what is nameservers, how it helps and what should be the nameservers with reference to host name and domain name.

    Appreciate your response.

    Regards
    Gurmeet
