    Hello,

When I create a new account through the VHM creates a default username and password which are used to access the cPanel control panel and also access via ftp to /

It is possible to limit access to the root of the account under the FTP connection to go directly to the public_html directory?

    Thank you!

No, it is not possible to the main default account created by cpanel to access directly public_html folder. If you still would like to access directly public_html then you can create add on FTP user through cpanel and assigned the public_html directly to the directory field.
