I'm hoping I've just been unable to find a setting for this, but it was working correctly before so I'm lost.

Create a new account in WHM, it sets up the DNS NS records to the same name servers the domain has listed in the whois. It is suppose to create them using OUR dns servers. It use to work, but recently stopped. We have our DNS set up in a cluster and have dedicated DNS servers.

Any idea? Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

Have you tried doing this:

Main >> Server Configuration >> Tweak Settings

in domains:

check: "When adding a new domain, if the domain is already registered, ignore the configured nameservers, and set the NS line to the authoritative (registered) ones."

This is new and often overlooked.

Ah ha, that was checked on all of our servers.

I've unchecked that box, and saved it. It responded:

Updating "Always use authoritative (registered) nameservers when creating a new dns zone." from "1" to "0".
"Always use authoritative (registered) nameservers when creating a new dns zone." was updated.

I think that will do it, thanks!!
