I performed an update last night from 11.50 to 11.52.2.
Scouring the logs this morning and came across this

New account [nscd] has been created with uid:[28] gid:[28] login:[/] shell:[/sbin/nologin]

I assume it's safe, but thought i'd better ask ???

cPanel version 54 is now available in the "Release" build tier, and includes the resolution referenced in my last response.

    Thank you.

    I installed 54 last night, re-enabled nscd.
