    Currently using:
    cPanel 11.24.4-R33609 - WHM 11.24.2 - X 3.9

I just noticed that when creating a new hosting account in WHM, the password entry is no longer hashed out. Also, the resulting account creation page no longer contains "Password: --hidden--" like it used to, but instead there is the full password there on the account opening result page.

Is this some sort of security issue?

Did it send you an email showing the password as well?

There is an option in Tweak Settings:

Send passwords in plaintext over email when creating a new acccount. Enabling this option is a security risk.

    Ticked yes or no?

Why do you not contact your current hosting provider's support?
Think that they know how to solve any problem...
