When creating a new account in Cpanel...
We're able to access the cpanel *even though we get this new ANNOYING message about redirection with an ugly blue page - discussed in another thread*...

But, when we create MySQL Databases and Users, the user is unable to access the database created even though they have all priveledges.
We've been working with this for two days now and cannot figure out what the issue is.

We've never had this issue before. This is turning an otherwise 2 second process of creating database, creating user, giving user permissions....into a 2 day process that doesn't make sense.

The error - Error Establishing Database Connection

Anyone know of a possible reason/solution?

    We've restarted mysql twice already....

Thanks for any ideas or any help...

Have you recently upgraded MySQL by chance? For example, from 4.0 to 4.1 or 4.1 to 5.0?

    Not that I know of...

I've attempted upgrading Cpanel last week, thinking it would solve the whole "blue screen redirect" when a user tried to access domain.com/cpanel....

I should also mention that all the other accounts and sites seem to be okay as far as accessing MySQL...Although, I havent tried to create any new databases with existing accounts..
