Today I found a Courier Configurator Editor option in WHM.
Could any cpanel member team explain this options?

    Maximum Imap Connections (Total)
    Maximum Imap Connections Per Ip
Maximum TLS/SSL Imap Connections Per Ip
    Maximum Pop3 Connections (Total)
    Maximum Pop3 Connections Per Ip
Maximum TLS/SSL Pop3 Connections Per Ip
    Number of Authentication Daemons

Max Imap/POP3 connection (total) means at the same time?
Setting a 0 value in the fields will disable it?

I want to clarify the scenario, for example a customer has a lan with 3 users.

If I set Imap connections (total) to 3 and imap connections per IP to 1, only can access 1 user?
    So should be 3 and 3 ?

Note that the cPanel staff do not routinely monitor this forum, if you have a question where you desire an answer from the cPanel staff, I'd recommend submitting either a Sales or Support ticket.

Maximum connections total would be maximum connections to your server. Per IP would be for each IP connecting to your server.

If a customer has a LAN and NAT, they would likely only have 1 public IP for you to worry about. If for some reason they aren't translating to a single IP - you would set the per-ip to the maximum you would expect to originate from a single IP address.

If total is 3, that means only 3 people can use IMAP simultaneously. It's easier to think of an IP as a single user, but theoretically multiple users can be behind the same IP address.
