I see the board has changed. I like some of the changes, but what happened to the "new posts" link? Unless I'm going blind, it looks like we now have to go to each forum, then the new posts from there. Hopefully I'm just going blind. ;)

Search doesn't work either. :(

Doing a search on cluster comes up with 0. Doing search on cPanel comes up with only 3 posts today.

The search feature is definitely not right. Just when I needed to find an answer to a problem too...

Yep! and they archived everything... http://forums.cpanel.net/archive/index.php

Notice though that area you cannot search at all.

Another case of good intentions gone bad. I really wish companies would learn to leave things alone.

Personally the only thing they haev acheived is to make it more inconvenient than before for finding things. If you're going to "upgrade" do not screwed basic functions.

Sorry guys, thats just the way the vb upgrade script does it. We'll have the search working 100% shortly. View new post should be back as well.

People will always complain about change, no matter whether it's good or bad. maybe because they have nothing better to do than complain?

Search function works great, it's at the top of the page. In fact, I just used it, so it works. Find new threads would be good, but give it time, the skin will be updated I'm sure to have that.

GREAT job btw, guys. Excellent upgrade, I know this one couldn't have been easy :)

Forums is a lot slower than it used to be before :: also search is not as flexible anymore - i tested it with an posting in the 'old' system and now i can only find it back with my 'username' while in the 'old' su=ystem is was found with only 2 search keywords -- layout is nice, but the 'old' system was faster and more flexible on search

I see it is back now. :)

Thank you very much. I was going out of mind without that feature

The time is a little whacky.

I have my prefs set to display linear oldest to newest, so I was shocked when I posted a reply and it ended up in the middle of the thread (where this one will probably be). Then I looked at the time of the posts and noticed that some people were posting in the *future*.

Can some of you future posters tell me what the powerball numbers will be tomorrow?

I see a speedup of about 30% atleast, so I don't know what you are talking about when saying the forum is slower. The new VB does database queries much much faster than any previous version ever did. Maybe you just have a slow connection, or slow route to cpanel's site.

Go on, have a guess
Personally, I found that the old forum performed perfectly well for its purpose. This new version, though pretty, seems overly cluttered and much much harder to read (especially with the out of line posts  ). Ah well, no going back I guess.

Would be nice to not have to hit reply all the time and have the litte edit window at the bottom of the thread again.

Yes! I like the change too.
I am so used to the "NEW POSTS" as well which I login daily to view any follow up or new issues.

Now I have to open so many session of explorer and my fingers are tired clicking them.
I wish somebody can help me out with a way of reading NEW POSTS
