We've been working on this new CPanel theme, and it's almost ready for prime time. There are a couple screenshots on our website, as well as a description of interesting and unique features.

http://www.maxpanel.com/

Briefly...
- Strong support for resellers including logo/image branding, support section for each reseller (with as many links as they could need), etc.
- Server Name shown in a 'short' form to hide the real server name, but still give some userful info to customer for support purposes.
- Server Status visible on the main page, including POP3, IMAPd and SSH (needs some additions to your chkservd configuration, but we can help with this).
- Do your users fail to enter their contact info? No longer! We pop-up a window if the field is empty.
- Multiple versions to show or hide controversial features like uptime, CPanel version, etc.

We welcome your comments. No price is set yet, but I can tell you it will be on the low end of the pricing scale. I'd much rather have a bunch of people using this honestly, because the price will be reasonable, than people &sharing& (stealing) it for other servers. Pricing suggestions are welcome as well.

Note that colors (fonts, background on the left side, left side images) are in a state of flux. The left side icons/images will be either clear background (to show the blue gradient through) or that entire section may switch to a black or gray background.

Let me know what you guys think. The color issues should be done in a day or two, along with the remaining small issues, and we'll look for a pre-release (beta) early next week. *fingers crossed*

Thanks,
Jason

Comments, Questions? Release is almost ready.

FYI - new screenshots available at http://www.maxpanel.com/

Does anyone have any comments or questions about MaxPanel? We've updated the look a bit, and hammered out most of the remaining issues.

There are some ideas that I haven't done yet, but which should be easy enough if anyone wants it. ie - when displaying Server Load, the color can vary depending on the load. If I do this, what would you guys consider &green& &yellow& and &red& loads? I think CPanel's default is green for &2, and red for &=2. Personally I think I'd prefer something a little less alarming. Your thoughts??

What about percentages for all those other items... ie, would you want MaxPanel to show that you've uesd x% of your EMail accounts, databases, etc? (Obviously we won't display a calculation for when the allotted value is zero, or the available is unlimited.) Or is it good clear enough just showing this for Bandwidth and Disk Space?

Are there things about the screenshots so far that you like? Hate?

Live demo should be up shortly - probably on Wednesday.

Thanks!

- Jason

Well, I have this comments!

It has very good features that we all need.
-------
in other hands, the cpanel will need to look much better since is what we looking to have as another option and I know that you are working on that.

Now the Big question:

Are you going to update the theme and how often.......?

I will never buy another theme since I have waste money just to find out the maker of the theme will not update the theme and if it those update the theme will be 6 months later..... yea! excuses....

now, there is only one person that is really on top of the themes even is not that grate looking (cpanelthemes + fantastico) and he does update all his themes on time.

another person that updates is CpanelGUI witch I love.

None welcome themes:
deoskins
cpanel skins

I alreay waste my money with them....

good luck!

bigshow911 - pricing will be under $50. exact figure will be announced tonight or tomorrow along with the first release. I'll drop you a line when we have something for you.

hostbet - sorry to hear about the problems you've had with theme developers who abandon their products. There's probably nothing I could say to convince you that this will not be the case, but actions speak louder than words. If you like the theme, I'll let you use it at no cost, and ask that you pay sometime in the future once we've proven the value of our product, support, and timeliness of updates.
