The second skin I have created has now been released. Its called GlideMX and it takes cpanel to a whole new level. Instead of using a series of icons for navigation, GlideMX uses cascading menus which are displayed on every page so that every cpanel option is only one click away.

This new skin comes packaged with 3 different color schemes and colors can be changed very easily to suit any site. The addition of more menu items is very easy as well.

If you want to take a look at this new theme, proceed to:

Let me know what you guys think~

Holy freaking cow man, that is a beaut!

Edit: Do you have any plans on making any WHM skins by any chance?

Not sure about WHM. WHM is basically for hosts and resellers, so only a select few people see the actuall skin, as where hosts, resellers, and all users see cpanel skins.

I guess I just like alot of attention. hehe. I might after a little while, I want to release a few more CPanel skins before I move onto something like that.

Thanks for the compliment though!

Ok
Don't work...

For some reason, I just get a blank page with the netscape browser.(communicator 4.7) Javascript is enabled.

Works in Netscape 6.0

Works in Opera 6

Works in Opera 5 (hard to get to third level menu without it dissapering)

Works of course in IE.

Only MAJOR problem is Netscape 4.7 which a ton of users still have. Anyreason way, or reason why?

It works in NS 4.7x, What isnt working is the frameset that holds the document. I will have an update for it sometime this weekend.

Ok
LOL!!!

You have logs of EVERY USER IN THE WORLD??

OR you have millions of visitors??

I don't think you do.

4.7 is still pretty popluar, lots of people don't want to download 6.0 still.

I use 4.7 often, usually to test sites, more so ours than anyone elses.

Also, say 10% of YOUR visitors are on Netscape browsers,

if that where the case worldwide that would be approx. 60 Million People. Say 1/4 of them are still on 4.7

that would be approx 15 MILLION people.

I'd say that is TONS.

No, they won't ALL have cpanel, cause they won't all have websites, but they WILL see demo's which are open to any visitor!

anyways, lol.
Thanks for the laugh, needed it.:p

[quote:992c5a4563] IE is a hugely superior web browser. [/quote:992c5a4563]

IE is superior? You've never heard of a browser called Opera obviously ;).

Can you simultaneously open 30 new windows in IE in Win98 without crashing the system or running out of system resources? Can you get rid of pop-up windows at will in IE? Can you open windows in the background in IE? I doubt it.

Have you heard of MS trying to deliberately block access to Opera users in their MSN site a few months back? Can you think of a reason why they would worry about a browser with a 1-2% coverage in the US (8% in Europe and growing)?

IE isn't superior, it's just a popular product!

Well, you guys can all argue what is the better browser. Totally fine with me. Either way, my skins should work in all browsers. NS 4.7x is currently haveing some issues with my skin due to the framset which will have a fix shortly. Other than that, it should work in all browsers beautifully. Hence the term &cross browser compliant&. Any developer/designer should check his/her work in all browsers. Its pointless if it does not work in some browsers because no matter how many or how little users may use that browser, it still has restrictions on who can use it. And that does not make for a very stable product. So its not about the browser here people, its about the product and the developers/designers behind it.

Attention to detail is what creates quality.

Isn't anyone else slightly bothered by the fact that this SKIN looks exactly like host rockets, funny how most of the images with it are even the exact same size byte for byte.

Valid Point

Valid Point!

Now the question is, which came first...

The Rocket or the Deo?

Did Rocket purchase a copy of DeoDreamers Cpanel Layout, or did DeoDreamer have the stupidity to copy Rocket?

No offence ment there BTW, unless you did copy it, in which case it is a valid statement about your actions.

Regardless, both are very nice looking, just for kicks though, you gotta check this one out, it is the best I have seen so far to date:

CP-5 (www.cp-5.com) - this one kicks a*s!
