New DNS Flaw??

    We do not bundle BIND with cPanel/WHM.

    This would be up to the manufacturer of the distribution you use to resolve.

    understand now.. local DNS resolver versus Bind is different and NOC's are what's at risk?

    Any OS that cPanel supports has a patch for this. If you run a name server, it is Bind. On cPanel at least.

    Make sure your OS is applying security patches and as long as BIND gets updated you will be fine.
