Only one domain has this problem.

I can not send mail from this one domain. Receive mail is ok, but no SMTP out.

    All other domains are ok.

Just this one domain experineces this.

It appears that the outlook or Eudora can not contact the mail server to send out the mail.

    ANy Ideas?

    Thanks

Send tickets to cpanel so they can fix that certain part in stable version! :)

    Now no in mail too.

Changing the smtp is not a problem, but now no incoming mail either.

Did change to stable 6.42 last night. no go.

I am also having some odd issues. I am not receiving *@hotmail.com e-mails. I can send to them fine but not receive. Here is the what the clients are receiving...

This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.

Unable to deliver message to the following recipients, due to being unable to connect successfully to the destination mail server.

Oh, users are able to telnet to port 25 and receive an Exim prompt so I know their ISP is not blocking that.

    I fixed it

Cpanel couldn't fix it but I played around and changed the ip of the site.

about 60 minutes late after the DNS ad a chance to propogqate it worked.

Now I get and send mail.

    Well

I changed the sites IP address to a different one and Voila it worked.

After the DNS propagated it was all good and now I am getting my 3-4 day old mail finally,

So far, hasn't worked here....we have just a few accounts that are having issues...not all of them. Unfortunately one of them is a local government organization and they need their mail ASAP...

Just curious to know if anyone having this problem has been tracking / viewing their Server logs?

    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

Might give some indication especially doing a grep of problem IPs to see how often it is happening.

Another suggestion is to add Port 26 (WHM > Tweak Settings) as I have found this works for those ISP blocking 25 -- and still being able to use Port 25, for those not having problems, is a nice touch.

We are getting more users reporting unable to send mail. Is it possible to downgrade WHM 7.2.0 cPanel 7.2.0-E19 down to Exim3?

so far cpanel hasn't been able to resolve my problem. Anyone else find a solution...other than the guy that changed IP's?

I have tried ensim on port 26, 587, ran fixpop, updated cpanel, re-verified dns and mx records to no avail. I wonder if the new cppop caching feature has anything to do with this in regards to issues receiving.

Just tried installing Exim3 to hopefully resolve this....doesn't work. I'm getting more and more clients saying they are having issues.
