    The changelog for cpanel version 10.0.0 Edge_147 says Exim is updated to version 4.50. Since a Release si coming out (10.0.0 Releases_149), I update cpanel on one of my servers but Exim says it is still on 4.44.

    Maybe there are still missing steps to do here?

    The cPanel upcp job doesn't necessarily upgrade exim. You should try:

    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/exim4 --latest

    If that doesn't do it, then it isn't yet available for your update tree - it does install and work fine on EDGE.

    Thanks for the info we updated to the newest release build today and all users lost the ability to send mail...it would give user and pass failure, by running what you stated fixed the problem

    Not sure why but all users on one of my servers are getting mail failures.
    I am trying to run the /scripts/exim4 --latest but I get nothing but:

    Resetting Exim to cPanel Defaults and Installing the Latest Version
    `/etc/localdomains' -> `/etc/localdomains.eximreset'
    `/etc/aliases' -> `/etc/aliases.eximreset'
    `/etc/secondarymx' -> `/etc/secondarymx.eximreset'
    Failed to download http://diff.cpanel.net/exim/4.44-0/..._rewrite_mm2_mmmtrap_exiscan_md5pass.i386.rpm .. using source instead

    Just to throw an odd question in here . . .

    Out of interest, what would be the benefit of upgrading from Exim 4.44 to 4.50?

    I'm getting no issues with 4.44 and try to stick to the "if its not broken, don't fix it" attitude where possible (not counting security patches and so forth).

    Is upgrading to Exim 4.50 be recommended? Any problems I should look out for after doing so?

    Tony, did you run /scripts/updatenow first?
