NEW FD_SETSIZE Prob!!!

    Hello All,

    I have ugraded one of my server 15 days back to WHM 6.0 and it worked prefectly till today. It started giving me the same FD_SETSIZE error.

    I executed easyapache and choose option 5 and choose Increase FD_SETSIZE thing and Recompiled it.

    Now my Apache servers the Web Pages but my error_log is continously saying....

    [Thu Mar 27 13:40:16 2003] [notice] child pid 31865 exit signal File size limit exceeded (25)
    [Thu Mar 27 13:40:17 2003] [notice] child pid 31866 exit signal File size limit exceeded (25)
    [Thu Mar 27 13:40:18 2003] [notice] child pid 31869 exit signal File size limit exceeded (25)
    [Thu Mar 27 13:40:19 2003] [notice] child pid 31871 exit signal File size limit exceeded (25)
    [Thu Mar 27 13:40:25 2003] [notice] child pid 31868 exit signal File size limit exceeded (25)

    This Message is Logged for each and every sec to my error_log now.

    ulimit -n 1024
    ulimit -n 4096
    ulimit -n 8192
    ulimit -n 16384

    This is the order how my ulimit is set in /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd file.

    I changed it to

    ulimit -n 16384
    ulimit -n 1024
    ulimit -n 4096
    ulimit -n 8192

    But no use
    Help pls...

    What should i do?

    Hello,

    stop apache
    ulimit -n 16384
    start apache

    Resolved!!!!!!
