Has anyone setup new server with redhat9 + cpanel and you got everything working correctly?

I just setup 3 new servers with fresh Redhat 9 + cpanel and the services are not running. Accessing http://ip will resolve unreachable. FTP resolves unreachable. :2082 :2083 :2086 :2087 work just fine.

When I restart the services (httpd, ftp), they are restarted just fine and are reported up from the WHM status section.

This happens to all 3 new servers. I submitted a ticket but Eric has not found the solution.

Eric suggested to use Redhat 7.3 or 8. I then reformated my test server here at home and tested with Redhat 7.3 and still experience the exact same issue.

If you have not instsalled servers recently and have test machines, I would hope you give it a try installing fresh redhat and cpanel and see if httpd or ftp is up for you. Greatlly appreciated.

    [~]# links localhost
    -bash: links: command not found

I installed Redhat with the medium firewall option.

    Hi thephantom,

Nick advised me to use lokkit to turn off the redhat firewall and all is working now. Thank you very much.

I had the same problem... After 15-20 messages with support they still never figured out my problem. I just happen to reinstall and saw the firewall settings... Support should make a note of this on Redhat 9 installs.
