New Install, following install directions not working

I'm at step 3, cPanel/WHM Configuration, where I'm supposed to go to https://xx.xx.xx.xx:2087 and configure my installation, but when I do, I get a DNS error.

When I used 2086, it worked. The instructions say 2087, but that is not correct.

2087 is the secure SSL port... which is preferable, because using 2086 will send your root password in cleartext. But you probably have to setup the ssl certificate first. You can do this in WHM with the Reset Cpanel/WHM Certificate near the bottom of the long menu.
