So I was allocated an additonal new ip address range by my dc. I added the ip address through the WHM new ip interface. I selected a domain to have one of the new ip addresses as a dedicated ip address. The website was working and now comes up with the cpanel "sorry" page. I have checked with the dc to make sure they are allocated correctly. the dns for the website is correct, and I've check the "ips" file and it appears to be listed correctly in there as well. Not sure what else to do as I have searched the forums and google, etc... and can't find any answers as to what files I should be checking or what I should be checking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey there! The first thing I would check is to make sure the IP is actually pointed to your server, and not another cPanel machine. You can do this by watching the /etc/apache2/logs/domlogs file for your domain, to see if any traffic appears when you reach the "Sorry" page. If so, the IP is properly pointed to the system.

If that works, there is likely a DNS mismatch between the IP of the domain in DNS and the IP the domain is listening on in Apache. You can check this from WHM >> List Accounts and confirm the IP address is correct on the system.

Can you try that and see if that gets you more details about the issue?

Ok so I went to check the logs and my ip address wasn't listed and I believe it was from when it was on the shared ip for my server. Now I'm not getting anything other than "This site can't be reached".

It would likely be best to create a ticket for this issue as there's several things that need to be tested to ensure things are working well - the domain name, the DNS, the IP itself, the Apache configuration, the network, etc. Could you make a ticket and then post the number here so I can follow along?
