Hello,

im i copy the english file and translate it to my own language,

if i upgrate cpanel someday,

will cpanel add the new item of new version added to my own language file automatically?

or my own language will not be changed,

and i need to add the new items/sentances manually ?

thanks

We are in transition from our legacy language system to our new locale system (beginning in 11.25). Let me explain how both systems address this issue:

In the legacy system, new keys are not added to your language file. This results in any new partial phrases generating "language key not found" errors in the cPanel interface. To resolve this issue, you can use the language editor in WHM to translate any missing partial phrases.

In the new locale system, new keys are still not added to your locale file automatically since the software will have no idea how to translate the phrase into the appropriate language. However, instead of generating error messages, the phrase will be displayed in English until you can use the locale editor to translate any missing full phrases.

Version 11.25 does not represent a changeover to the locale system entirely. However, it does begin the transition to the locale system from our legacy language system.
