Does anyone know of a cpanel addon that would allow a webmail user to be notified to an external email address whenever mail is received in their webmail account. I know the paid version of atMail has this feature -- but can not seem to find any other addons or such that will do this. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

For security purposed we only allow our users of the email system to check their mail via our secure webmail client. Due to legal obligations with clients the mail can not be forwarded or read outside this system. Therefore we need a simple way to notify our users that they have received a new message. The forwarder option would be great but it will forward the entire message and that brings us back to the same problem - the old version of atmail standalone (not the atmail open) has exactly what we need but is no longer supported. Would be more than happy to hire a developer to code something for roundcube, squirrel or atmail open but have no idea where to start and also assume this is such a common request that there is some way to achieve this already. Below is a link to what the atmail server does:

Atmail KB: Auto Notification of messages

Any feedback or suggestions on a way to go are appreciated as I am at a loss here as are the dedicated support team at the hosting company.

    Thanks

cause then he also doesn't need to bother using cPanel ;)

Most other enterprise systems can do this, and your competition probably also has an option where a user can get notified via SMS or something about new mail. Without having to forward it to another address.
