The company that hosts our web server provides cPanel as part of its service. We have had a Red Hat 9 box located with them for years. Now we in the planning stages of getting a bigger, faster box and the question of what OS to use comes up.

We know our way around Red Hat 9, but we have some concerns about how much longer cPanel will do security updates.

Anyone have thoughts on this or know what the future support plans for cPanel are?

    Thanks.

Never mind about cPanel as far as I have been told Red Hat 9 isn't even updated with any security updates, I use Feroda at the moment but CentOS is definatly the most recommended at the moment.
