I am a new user to web design and I am having problem understanding the instructions. I managed to upload a page, using the name index.htm. However, this was just a test to see if it would work. I have now created a page and deleted this test index.htm, but I cant get rid of it. I can find it in cpanel, but when I go to my webiste that test page is still showing. I have also created my new webpage with the same name, but it still will not showing on the website.

    Need help urgently.

    Hi dwedderburn,
Your site home page name should be index.html or index.htm also make sure that you are uploading your pages in public_html folder not out site of public_html. If you uploaded outsite of public_html it will not reflect when you browse your site.
If you uploaded it in correct postion it will show changes in 2 sec. So make sure that your are uploading it on correct location.
