I am new to setting up a web site can someone please tell me what I need to do. I've purchased a domain name, and I am using Win Web Hosting as my server. But what about stting up my system for proxies and stuff like that. I am not sure what other steps to take, any help would be great.

    Hi kpmcgee,

If you are worrying about security concerns of your website, you can write a .htaccess file and write rules to prevent bandwidth theft and you can password protect your directories. Also you can use mod_security module to tighten security to your website. You can secure your databases by giving limited privileges to the users. You can also use third party utilities to tighten the security.

    Regards,

    Bright:)
