    I am trying to figure out how to set up my automatic back up in the WHM. What I want to do is set it up so that it backs up every day. I have read the manual but some parts it doesn't cover, for example, back up retention. If anyone can walk me through the process on how to set this up properly, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,
    Bob

    Login to WHM >> Backup >> Configure Backup. You will get whole lot of options to configure backup automatically.

    Thanks,

    I have found that, I am just not sure what to enable/disable or where to put the files. I have no idea what I am doing with that and the manual seems to offer very little info on the process and no info on the retention option....

    Also, what about restoring a full backup created from the cpanel? I haven't been able to figure out how to do this yet either.

    You just need to go:

    WHM -> Backups -> Restore a Full Backup/cpmove file

    Ya, something is wrong. when I go to restore a full backup/cpmove file, it doesn't show any backups eventhough I do have a back up in the root. :confused:
