Newbie question about Primary Nameservers

I would like to change my Primary Nameservers and I wonder if that will affect my sites in any way or something else?

ns1.mysite.com
ns2.mysite.com

to

ns1.servermatrix.com
ns2.servermatrix.com

You should really keep running your own, it is automated and quicker. However if you want to switch just make sure the servermatrix dns servers have all of your DNS records. If they do just make the change in the registar and you will have no problems.

Any domain using your existing name servers will need to be updated. Make sure you change all the domains using your name servers over to your providers otherwise pages won't load, email won't work and anything for a user using the old name servers won't work.
