Hi to all,
I have a question about my os running on my vps.
i MUST upgrade my centos system on a major release or i can stay with my currently version?
After i had an upgrade, cpanel automatically update all services to be safetly running with my system or i risk some crash or incompatibilities?
Cpanel advise me with an email or module in administration panel when is os end of life?
Many thanks for support

Hello :)

Ideally, you should provision a new server with the new version of the OS. Then, install cPanel, configure the server, and migrate the accounts from the existing system over to it. This would be the easiest and most reliable method of upgrading your OS to a new major version. cPanel will continue to function on an OS that is at it's end of life. However, you will likely not be able to update to newer versions of cPanel that become available.

Thank you.

Yes of course i understood
Anyway i read this about your eol page
"CentOS 6.x, RedHat Enterprise Linux 6.x May 30, 2021"
So i suppose i don't have to worry about it until 2021 isn't it? :)

Yes, that is the correct EOL date for CentOS 6.

Thank you.
