My php.ini is coming from /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini

How do I change it so that the PHP ini is in the right place ?

If you have ZEND installed that would be correct.

usually the php.ini comes from /etc/php.ini You can find out where you have one and type locate php.ini to see them all. Edit one of them, and then make one of those test.php files and see if the variable changed, then you can make sure which one you are using.

Does this require a restart of apache (or any other service)when editing directives?
