Newbie - Subdomain Issue

Hi!

I set up two subdomains and sadly cannot seem to get them working properly:
dev.domain.com
test.domain.com

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated! I've read a few different threads here and probably need to find something a little more dumbed down as DNS records, changing them and such are all pretty foreign for me.
