Nginx Admin for cPanel WHM

Hi folks,
Not seeing a specific new thread for observations about Nginx Admin (not about installation questions) I figured I would start one here, and launch it with a couple questions:

1.
Web page turn caching off?
Nginx Admin is working nicely, but client has received many complaints from customers stating that some pages (which change frequently throughout the day) show stale content until client clears their browser cache or does a force reload of page.

Any tips on how to remedy situation where frequently changing content is not cached by browser?


2.
Nginx and .htaccess fact or fable?
Is it true that with Nginx Admin installed on a cpanel server that .htaccess files are not processed?

Actually I am interested in this question too and would like to have a discussion here. Nginxcp forum is dead, and does not have much expert answers. The other thread is about how to install nginxcp, and so long that any new info would be lost or buried.

If Nginx admin plugins are so good why are their own sites serving pages with Apache?
Just thought I'd throw that out there!
