    Hi,
Just installed cpanel and set up two accounts, but no mail can can either be sent or received.
Sendmail was installed and working, but it seems installing cpanel and the exim app has disabled the sendmail app. Any ideas?

    Goto WHM

    Goto Tweak Settings

    Look For

"Track the origin of messages sent though the mail server by adding the X-Sender headers (exim 4.34+ required)"

and turn that off and see if it helps?

    Let us know :)

    Go on, have a guess
Is exim actually running? You could try restarting it with:

    /etc/init.d/exim restart

You can then check the exim log files when you send email to see where the problem might be:

    tail -f /var/log/exim_mainlog

    Hi,
Fixed it by re-installing it. It works now.
    Thanks for your input :)
I now have a simular problem with interchange, it won't start. Re-installed it also, installed OK but refuses to start.
