    Hello,

There seems to be a bug in cPanel. When a domain name that includes a hyphen is added as a parked domain, an error comes up: "Sorry, your domain name cannot contain any special characters like spaces, periods, @ signs, / slashes, or - hyphens". However, domain names can contain hyphens, and must contain periods. Is there a particular reason for this restriction, or is it just a bug? If it's just a bug, is there a patch available?

    Thanks!

It's a bug in the Javascript validator. A workaround is to disable javascript before visiting the Addon and Parked domain interfaces in cPanel. This will be fixed in forthcoming builds.
