    I'm sending a PHP-mail-form located on "server 1" to a receiver on "server 2"

    Server 1: cPanel webserver
    Server 2: Dovecot mailserver

The email is received and everything on "server 2", but when I check the maillog on "server 2" I get this:
    ---
no IP address found for host *hostname*.fastbit.se (during SMTP connection from *ipnumber*)
    ---

fastbit.se is the internet provider at the hosting company as far as I know, and the end point when I'm running a traceroute to the IP of "server 2".

The question is: Is this something I set in cPanel, like which server php should use or is it something wrong with my ISP?

    Hello :)

Please check to see which hostname is configured as the RDNS record for the IP address. EX:

    Code:
    # host IP
Then, check to see if that hostname can be resolved from your server. EX:

    Code:
    # host hostname
It's likely the RDNS record that is configured for the IP address does not resolve back to a valid server. To resolve this issue, the ISP should ensure the hostname resolves to a valid IP address. Otherwise, Exim will not accept the SMTP connection.

    Thank you.
